Glam & Gorgeous Graduation Pics with ALL the Best Props
I was so excited for Madie’s senior photo session to roll around. Know why? Because she was excited to work together with me to create fun and creative graduation pictures she’d remember for a lifetime—and love sharing with her family and friends!
When it was all said and done, it was nearly impossible to choose the best and most vibrant images of Madie…because, well…just look at her session. All of her photos are my favorites!!!
Madie and her family chose the Platinum Session, which gave us the perfect amount of time for several outfit changes and plenty of great daytime light. The energy level was high because her cheering squad, including mom, dad, and brother, were all there encouraging her to rock her runway style—so in every photo Madie looks right at home…like she skipped over all the nerves and jumped right into a professional modeling career!
Cool & Classic in Denim with a Leather Jacket
Every wardrobe deserves a chic black leather jacket to top off all those perfect outfits, and Madie pulls it off stunningly when she pairs it with her deep red jeans, black booties, and black crop top. Whether she’s flashing you a brilliant smile or a serious look, she’s gorgeous in this uptown dressy look. Love this look? The jacket is available in my Style Closet!
A Girl’s Best Friend…Perfect Pics with Louie
Talk about switching gears and turning the focus to the unconditional love of a canine pal! I can’t tell you how much fun it is to capture these special moments with graduating seniors, many of whom have grown up with their pets over the years. It’s so important to include beloved furry family members in this huge milestone moment, because they’ve been there every step along the way!
The love between Madie and Louie is visible in every image, and it was so much fun to see them run and play together naturally, right in their own backyard. Those in-the-moment memories are exactly what I want to turn into lifetime keepsakes, so the more they played, the better! Madie’s light and casual jumper dress was perfect for this scene, too. In light blue and white, she’s carefree and playful—just the right look for a playful day in the sunshine.
Pretty & Pensive…A Close-Up on Perfect Hair & Makeup
Madie stands out in so many ways in this photo! She’s gorgeous inside and out, and her beauty genuinely shines as she makes eye contact with the camera. With deep brown eyes, perfectly lined and highlighted with a dusting of neutral shadow, her gaze is piercing. This shot is also a great way to see the attention to detail she paid to her brows, skin, nails, and hair!

It’s not every day I get to work with a client who can pull off a fabulously stylish jumpsuit like this one! And to top it off, Madie looks stunning posing in front of this artistic wall—perfect for a client who loves to paint and do crafts! Not only does the wall add a pop of color to the background, but it helps Madie stand out even more as she rocks this rust and black jumper. This beautiful mural in Downtown Gilbert makes a great place for senior pictures.
And I don’t even need to mention how fantastic the rust color mingles with the highlights in her hair, right?! In this image, her smile shows off her playful dimples, too. She’s the cutest!
Poised for the Future
It’s always fun to get a pose seated on the back of a bench or chair! Not only is it unexpected, it’s a chance to show off the entire outfit, and in this case, Madie pulled it all together brilliantly. With fun and strappy platform sandals and minimal accessories, she lets her outfit and her smile do the talking—and her look says she’s got it all pulled together!
Girl on the Move
Everyone who knows me KNOWS how much I love introducing the coolest props into senior photo sessions—and that includes cars! I’ve photographed plenty of guys with their cars and trucks, so when Madie expressed an interest in posing in her shiny blue convertible, I jumped at the chance!
A quick wardrobe change had Madie sporting the perfect little black dress, which she topped off with just the right amount of city style by adding chunky black Dr. Martin boots. Whether the convertible top’s up or down, this girl is ready to fly…just one more look over her shoulder for a quick bye-bye to high school!
Flirty on Four Wheels
Don’t worry, no engines were revving during these poses! And it’s a good thing, because perched backwards in her car, Madie’s glances are all for the camera…not for the road. She looks just like a movie star in a wide-brimmed floppy hat and sunglasses that pair perfectly with her black dress.
Don’t forget: every client has access to the exclusive Style Closet, so you can build your wardrobe and accessorize to your heart’s content—without breaking the bank! The black sun hat and heart sunglasses are two senior favorites!
Industrial Chic in the City
Lots of clients talk to me about different locations, and many of them love the idea of capturing a city scene with plenty of metal, stairways, and concrete in the background. It changes the entire feel of the setting, lending a modern touch to their portraits.
Madie looks lovely in teal, and leveraging the structures around us, I was able to use shadow and light to create a unique downtown feel.
Full of surprises and different looks, Madie is really going places! A 2022 graduate from Basha High School, she plans to attend Glendale Community College and study to become a special education teacher. Her friends describe her as energetic, loyal, and passionate, and she’s pretty good at making the best out of every situation, too!
On the Sweet Side
One of my favorite images has to be this sweet and playful image of Madie at a local candy shop. After confessing her love of SweeTARTS, we had to stop in for a sweet treat while we were working—hey, a girl’s gotta have some fun!
When asked about her advice to incoming Freshmen, Madie said, “Don’t try to impress anyone. Just be yourself and don’t worry what others think.” That sounds like some pretty smart advice! Congratulations on your graduation, Madie…I can’t wait to see how you soar into the future!
