Featured Senior Session
This gorgeous 2021 graduate is a Queen Creek High School alum who originally talked about taking professional senior photos at the Boyce Thompson Arboretum. But as soon as she caught a glimpse of the rustic, western vibe that’s right at home in Downtown Scottsdale, she decided it would be the perfect location for her graduation portraits. After a quick warm-up, it was time to get the real fun started! Erica donned her favorite footwear–her boots, of course. Aren’t they just perfect? And take a look at how great they look with her romper! We moved to The Saguaro Scottsdale, and with their permission, we strolled through their lush and vibrant grounds which served as a beautiful backdrop. We were lucky enough to use these perfect wagon wheel chairs that seemed like they were made especially for Erica and her photo shoot! They fit so well with her western theme that they became an instant fave. In fact, one of them was published in Senior Year Magazine!

As the sun started to set, Erica changed into her prom dress and we headed toward Sugar Bowl. I had seen images of prom dresses with ice cream and Erica was 100% in with that idea, so mom and step-dad grabbed her an ice cream cone while we started shooting outside. Setting up a photo shoot right off of Scottsdale Road with a gorgeous girl in a prom dress, well, let’s just say she attracted quite a bit of attention. Everyone always stops to congratulate my seniors and comment on how much fun we’re having! And they’re not wrong…we were having a blast even though it was getting a little chilly. Once the ice cream was gone we headed down a few blocks to catch a favorite…photos at night what show off the city lights. Erica was twirling and I was shooting away capturing every move! Then came this stunning white jumpsuit, which to date is still one of my absolute favorite dressy outfits! Erica was able to pull off every look from serious to smiles and everything in between!
