I believe in helping every senior recognize how amazing they really are. Mom sees it. I see it. Now it is time for THEM to see it!
Creating beautiful images isn’t a hobby for me. It’s a career. I’m low volume by design, so my clients will never feel like they’re part of an assembly line. I believe that every senior I photograph should have a unique, individualized experience where they’ll feel special at every turn.
I believe that teens and families deserve more than just a USB of files to throw in a drawer. By offering deluxe ordering and design services, I promise you’ll have heirloom-quality keepsakes you’ll be proud to share.. I’ve developed an easy system to help you choose your favorite photos. Then we’ll work together to design your products so you’ll know exactly what you’re getting before your ordering session is over!
– Your Senior Portrait Photographer
Why Specialize in Seniors?
Building confidence one picture at a time.
I believe teens are entirely too hard on themselves and don’t appreciate their beauty and talent. When you have the ability to capture the personality and beauty in a single moment of time, you realize you want to do that over and over again for every teenager you meet. It’s a time in their lives that I’m able to light a spark and show them proof that they are beautiful, amazing young adults, and watch their journey towards becoming confident, successful adults. I see it year after year as “my kiddos” go off to college, start careers, join the military, or live their dreams. They can look back at the memories we created with a huge smile, knowing they have one more person cheering them on and praying for their happiness.
I love hitting the town with teens and high school seniors and discovering the places that make them shine. I’d love to get to know you and plan a fabulous photo shoot that lets you step away from the craziness of senior year. Let the exams, drama, and stress take a back seat for one afternoon!
I’m a huge Disney fan. Lance and I went to Disneyland the first time together in 1998, married in 1999 and spent part of our honeymoon at Walt Disney World in Florida. And it never stopped! Both of our kids (now 17 & 19) are fans of all things Disney too!
“I love the water, pool, beach, Big Surf…if I’m by the water, I’m a happy camper.“
“I am one of the few living adults who hates coffee. I think I always equated it to growing up and I
only adult when necessary.“
“I used to love to scrapbook. I got a “good” camera so I’d have better pictures to scrapbook. Our
daughter was a gymnast and as you know, you can’t use a flash inside a gym. So if I wanted to
scrapbook her meets I had to learn how to work the good camera. FYI, my first DSLR was a Canon
I graduated with a B.S.E in mechanical engineering. Photography is the same thing, right?
Actually, I never had much interest in photography until I had kids, and the more I learned, the more
I realized how much I still needed to learn. Photography allows me to grow at my own pace and
offers me the never-ending cycle of learning and growing. Apparently God knew photographing
seniors was a much better fit for my personality than working in the semiconductor industry!
As one Arizona’s top senior photographers it is an honor to be nationally recognized and published in many leading industry magazines. Since 2014 I have had numerous images and articles published in Senior Year Magazine, Senior MUSE, and Modern Teen Style as well as having images featured on various blogs. In 2019 I was named one of the Top 200 Senior Photographers Worldwide! Can I just say I feel like I’m living my dream? Once your senior pictures are complete, you might be one of the next featured seniors or even be published in a magazine!
