Arizona Senior Pictures Featured in Magazines
Getting published in senior photography magazines means an image stood out among thousands of submissions from talented photographers across the country. Each feature is such an honor — and it’s also a sweet reminder that the sessions we plan together can feel personal, fun, and magazine-worthy.
From city lights to desert sunsets, cap and gown moments, editorial outfits, sports-inspired portraits, and creative After Dark images, these featured senior pictures all have one thing in common: real seniors bringing their personality to every frame.
SeniorSZN Magazine is one of the most competitive publications in the senior photography world, so having three of my client images featured is a huge honor! These sessions couldn’t be more different — urban nightlife, a sunset car shot, and a playful moment by the water — but they all share the same vibe: real seniors bringing their personality to every frame.
Named One of SeniorMUSE’s 50 to Follow
One of the biggest honors in my senior photography journey was being named one of SeniorMUSE Magazine’s 50 to Follow — a curated list recognizing senior photographers whose work stands out in the industry.
SeniorMUSE is one of the most respected publications in the senior photography world, so being included was an incredible honor and such a meaningful reminder that the work I create with Arizona seniors is being noticed beyond our own little corner of the desert.
But what I love most is that the featured images all started the same way every session does: with a real senior, real personality, thoughtful planning, and a session designed to feel completely like them.
Your Senior Pictures Could Be Featured Next
With over 200 senior images published in magazines like SeniorMUSE, Senior Luxe, SeniorSZN Magazine, Senior Year Magazine, and Teen Years Magazine, I’ve seen how exciting it is for seniors and their moms to see their portraits featured.
And the best part? These were real sessions with real Arizona seniors — planned around their style, personality, outfits, locations, and story.
Publication is never guaranteed, but when the right image comes together, it can be such a fun bonus to an already unforgettable senior experience.

Questions About Senior Pictures Featured in Magazines
What makes a senior picture magazine-worthy?
Magazine-worthy senior pictures usually have a strong combination of styling, posing, lighting, expression, creativity, and overall impact. The best images still feel personal, but they also have that polished, finished look publications love.
Can every senior session be submitted to a magazine?
Not always. Each publication has its own themes, deadlines, image requirements, and submission rules. If your gallery includes images that fit what a magazine is looking for, I may be able to submit them for consideration.
Is publication guaranteed?
No, publication is never guaranteed. Magazine features are selected by the publication, not the photographer. But when the right image is chosen, it is such a fun bonus to an already meaningful senior experience.
Do senior pictures have to be published to be special?
Not even a little. A magazine feature is exciting, but the real goal is creating senior pictures your family loves — portraits that feel personal, polished, and worthy of your walls, albums, graduation announcements, and memories.

Wow!! These are absolutely awesome!! Those pics with the cars!!! I wish I could get more seniors in front of the camera because when I do it’s a joy!
They’re my favorite!!! It started a few years ago and once the guys saw those pictures, they all wanted them! It’s so much fun to have guys interested in their senior pictures instead of just doing it for mom!
These are some really good pics!
