Modern Senior Photo Ideas with an Urban Twist
From hippie to high fashion, Mercy showed up ready to SLAY. I first met her after her junior year at Red Mountain High School when she modeled for a styled shoot in Downtown Gilbert. She instantly won me over with her fearless energy and creative ideas. So when it came time for her senior pictures, I knew it was going to be next-level fun — and I was so right

Want Graduation Photos That Actually Show Your Personality?
Yeah, yeah… cap & gown pics are classic. We did a few of those, but this right here? This is the real deal.
No posing. No planning. Just Mercy being her goofy, amazing self — and me, always ready to catch those spontaneous moments that turn into all-time faves!

Style Closet Finds: Yes to Props, Accessories & Personality
Mercy came with a list, and the antique phone from the Style Closet was top of it. (Girl’s got good taste.) The real MVP, though? A super versatile accessory that we used as a headband, belt, choker, and more.
One accessory. Four looks. Unlimited style. That’s the kind of fun we’re all about!
And YES, all these looks were captured near Heritage Square in Phoenix — one of my absolute favorite urban spots!

Why You Should Totally Bring Your Prom Dress
This dress wasn’t just a look… it was a moment. A $20 Goodwill find, updated by Mercy and her mom, and turned into senior photo gold.
Moral of the story? Bring the dress. Make the memory. Let’s make it iconic.

Floral Crowns & City Streets? Yes Please!
Only Mercy could rock a handmade dress and floral crown and then turn around and slay in a grungy city backdrop. We stayed behind while the crew moved on, grabbed some shots in the flowers, then went full contrast with buildings and brick walls. Same girl. Totally different vibes.
That’s the beauty of a well-planned (but still totally fun) session — we mix it up and get a gallery filled with variety.

What It’s Really Like on a Session with Me
Honestly? It’s a good time. Like, a really good time. We don’t just take pretty pictures —
we make memories.

Mercy’s Platinum Session meant we had time to wander from the Rosson House to rooftops and random alleyways, changing outfits with our mobile dressing room and laughing the whole way.

Freedom, Fun, and Overalls
This one’s a forever fave — Mercy in overalls, tie dye, sunglasses, and full-on sunshine.
I told her to dance in the street and she didn’t even flinch.
📸 Cue the perfect summer vibe: freedom, fun, and a little rebellion against adulthood.
(Adulting is overrated anyway. Sorry not sorry.)

Ideas for Your Own Senior Pictures
Bring the glam, the grunge, or the goofball — I’m here for it all! Some favorites:
- A prom or homecoming dress
- Oversized sunglasses (vibes for days!)
- Fun shoes like wedges or platforms
- Cap, gown, tassel, and diploma (borrow if you have to!)
- Something simple that lets you shine — like that effortless little black dress
What NOT to Bring?
Nerves. Seriously. You don’t need to know how to pose — that’s my job.
Just bring your personality, trust the process, and we’ll create something amazing together. If something feels awkward? We pivot. If you’re not loving it? We switch it up.
No pressure. No stress. Just a ton of fun!
