Downtown Gilbert Senior Pictures

Caroline, such an amazing young lady, came prepared for her senior pictures knowing exactly what she wanted. We had so many ideas and so many outfits for her photo shoot that I lost track and I know we didn’t use everything! The funny part is that going into the session, I actually wasn’t 100% certain what the results would be. Caroline is a foodie, loves to cook, and will be attending culinary school in the fall. I have never incorporated food into senior pictures like this before, so I was hoping for some guidance. Thankfully Caroline and her mom really pulled through!

They came prepared with great styling, multiple outfits, a cute cupcake stand, a picnic basket, lots of little gourmet desserts, and the best part was a perfect pastry from Bergie’s Coffee House that we grabbed at the last minute! Caroline also loves the theater, so shooting in Downtown Gilbert near Hale Centre Theatre made for the perfect backdrop! She rocked everything about this session, from the beautiful clothing choices, fun shoes, and perfect red lipstick! She even had one of her theater costumes! We also tried out a new product available to my clients…matching custom graduation announcements and thank you cards, and I love how they turned out! I’ve done custom grad cards for years, but these thank you cards are just another wonderful way to share senior pictures with your friends and family. This beautiful girl graduated from Gilbert Classical Academy in May! I can’t wait about her adventures at culinary school!

Meaningful Props and Clothing

This amazing red cape, handmade by her grandmother, gave her session extra sentimental meaning. Did I mention it was gorgeous and produced not one, but two beautiful heirloom canvas portraits? Caroline’s family will be displaying one in their home, and giving the other as a gift to Caroline’s grandmother who made the beautiful cape.

A poolside vacation is a great way to unwind and destress. Being in the water and under the sun can help you relax so all your worries float away. However, making the most of your resort vacation also means remembering certain things.

Check out the exceptional styling from this senior portrait session in Chandler, Arizona.  As we planned, Kelci and her mom decided that having her in the water would be a great addition to her portrait session. She chose a colorful bouquet, brought her dive medals, and we found the perfect desert locations for her senior portrait session.

Moms, take note and save this post! If you aren't sure what clothes your son should wear for senior pictures, just follow Kaden's example. He's got everything from casual t-shirts and jeans to a GQ look in a styled blue suit! His entire sessions shows great ideas for posing, and expressions too. I always try to get a balance of smiling and serious expressions whenever I’m on a shoot, but when you've got a face as photogenic as Kaden's, serious snaps are definitely a requirement!
